Selected students from the A.P. Environmental Science classes attended the Florida Springs Rally held at the Capitol on Feb 16, 2010. Students listenedto advocacy groups speak to lawmakers regarding the passage of legislatoin to protect Florida’s freshwater springs. The A.P. Environmetnal Science students cheered as lawmakers were urged to enact stricter laws to regulate septic tanks, land-use policies and wastewater treatment facilities. Students attending were Rebecca Atkins, Lauren Benham Skylet Matchett, Meagan Treadwell, Ketan Rangadale, Amanda Hartsfield, Emily Harman, Lauren Martin, Marissa Love, Arial Patton, Sarah Coven.
