Lord Lawton Postponed?

Chiles High’s finest men are having to wait for their opportunity to show the school what stuff they can strut, because the Lord Lawton competition has been postponed for after Prom 2010. This year Lord Lawton was cancelled because not enough boys signed up to participate. “We had a few potential candidates but not enough guys signed up to make the pageant worth while this year,” says Ms. Gonsalves.
Lord Lawton is a male pageant that the male students of Chiles sign up for, and if they place 3rd, 2nd, or 1st, they win money. They dance for the audience, present their special talents, and make the audience laugh throughout the whole pageant. Mrs. Gonsalves hopes to round up enough boys to make the pageant as fun as it was last year and hopefully it will be worth the wait!
