As we all know our spring break is March 29th thru April 2nd, 2010. Unfortunately for some of us, we will be stuck at home with nothing to do. But look on the bright side of everything, there will be plenty to do.

Along with catching up on your sleep and relaxing, you can chill with your friends and have fun doing whatever it is you do best. Tallahassee Democrat has posted a number of events and camps on their website. There are a different variety of camps, such as Spring Break Arts Camps, Museum Camps, and Glitz and Glam Camps.

For the people who like to dance or get their exercise on, the Center for Creative Release is having a hip hop dance instruction class on Wednesday March 31st, 2010, from 6 to 7 p.m. The cost per class you attend is $15.

For those who are more religious, there are church events during spring break. One church that is hosting an event is St. Louis Catholic Church. The name of the event is Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).

The cold weather has arrived and the best way to avoid freezing is knowing how to be prepared. For starters it’s time to stop wearing shorts and flip-flops and start wearing jackets and jeans. Gloves, scarves, and long socks wouldn’t hurt to wear either. Instead of standing outside in the cold climate it’s best to stay indoors with the heater on. You wouldn’t want to be freezing inside your own home or in a classroom. Spending too much time outside in this type of weather could result in bad cold or some other kind of illness. Drinking coffee or hot chocolate is another good way to stay warm. If you’re hungry you should eat some type of hot food such as soup or noodles. That will certainly warm you up and keep you focused. You’ll also feel warm after a nice exercising session for at least twenty minutes. When you’re at home and you’re still freezing maybe you should put on a Snuggie or snuggle with your pet dog or cat. Finally if it is extremely freezing outside you should definitely take a trip to another state where it is nice and warm.
