Baseball star, Will West, impresses his peers, teachers, and coaches more and more. Now that he’s headed down a road of success and has signed to play for Georgia Tech, he has become one of CHS’s star athletes!
Will West has been playing baseball for 11 years, and has been pitching since he was eight years old! He started pitching when others told him he had an advantage over right-handed pitchers because he was left-handed. Pitching is the absolute number one reason why Will loves baseball, “I love pitching because I feel like I’m in total control of the game and that the game is in my hands,” Will says. Will has pitched 60 innings, has a 1.08 ERA, 82 strikes, and 15 walks!
Signing on with Georgia Tech not only lets Will play baseball in the best baseball conference in all of college (the ACC) but it also gives him the opportunity to achieve his other dreams: to graduate from Georgia Tech with a business degree .
